COVID-19: 8 Cases Confirmed At Twifo Praso

Recently, we published a post about the rumours circulating in Twifo-Atti-Mokwa District about the novel Coronavirus. Click here if you have not read that post. Below is the update we promised our readers.

It has now been confirmed and announced officially that 8 cases are confirmed in Twifo Praso. One of these victims has escaped to somewhere we do not know.

Report tells that the victims are workers who were working at the construction site of the hospital at Twifo Praso.

There was a rumour that some nurses at Twifo Praso Government Hospital are also affected with the disease.

Today the D.C.E of Twifo-Atti-Mokwa District, Hon. Agyeman Nyan Takyi speaking on TwifoMan 105.3 FM pronounced to the public that there is no aorta of truth in that hearsay so people should take note. Though he confirmed that 7 cases are recorded.

He also adviced the people on the need to follow the directions and the measures to avoid the spread of the disease. "We are going to ensure that everyone without a nose mask will not be allowed to join any vehicle" He added.
